Bioprene offers the same benefits as Marprene but is compliant with USP Class VI, FDA requirements 21 CFR 177.2600, and USDA standards for food handling.

It also has long life, wide chemical compatibility and can handle fluid temperatures to 80C (176F). Repeated autoclaving will not affect the overall life of Bioprene and Marprene. Bioprene can also be sterilised by ethylene oxide or gamma irradiation.
